Ariel--My Thoughts Are With You

I join people all over the world wishing a speedy recovery to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon--who suffered a debilitating stroke yesterday. His position as Rosh Ha-Memshalah--Prime Minister of Israel--makes his health important to the Jewish people. His moral courage to withdraw from Gaza and move towards a two-state solution makes him important to bringing peace into the world.

Koach--the Conservative Movement's Campus group--has Hebrew, English, and transliterated versions of the traditional prayers for healing on the web.

The Jewish Agency has created an email address, thoughtsandprayers@jewishagency.org.il, through which you can express your personal thoughts and wishes to the Prime Minister.
Your message will be delivered to his office and family.

B'shalom,
Rabbi Bruce
