Jewish Roots of Super Heros

Comics and super heros are finally getting some respect. First there is a well-regarded exhibit at the Jewish Museum and the Newark Museum, examining the art of comics and super heros. Now, Freakonomics is getting into the act with a post about the Jewish roots of some of the classic super heros.

I always heard Superman was Moses but the rest is new to me.

Something to think about as we celebrate Shabbat and the first night of Chanukah.

Shabbat Shalom and Hag Urim Sameach,
Rabbi Bruce
